How We Work
Our support is predominantly provided on an as‐needed basis. We generally do not schedule ongoing fortnightly sessions unless clinically necessary and likely to be helpful for the participant.
Appointments can be delivered via telehealth, in the community, or in our office/clinic, depending
on what is most suitable.
Focus on NDIS Clarity and Value: We ensure our clinical recommendations are always aligned with the latest NDIS policy and legislation, providing clear justification for a considered use of participant funding.
We aim to make our sessions approachable, respectful, and practical, while maintaining clear
clinical focus and professional standards.
For Support Coordinators
MAXIN is ideal for support coordinators managing complex participants who require specialist occupational therapy input that is both clinically sound and practical to implement.
We can assist when:
- There is complexity, risk, or frequent change in function or supports.
- Mobility, seating, transfers, or access require careful prescription and follow‐through.
- There is overlap between disability, behaviour, justice involvement, and multiple services.
- Clear occupational therapy reasoning is needed to guide funding decisions or care‐team
planning.
Our involvement focuses on what is most useful for the participant and the team, avoiding
unnecessary reports or routine appointments.
